Consultancy Services
Once a property has been energy assessed we can offer a comprehensive consultancy and advisory service to help improve the rating

Rental properties
It is a legal requirement for all rented accommodation to comply with the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) legislation and achieve at least an E rating. This rating must be maintained to continue renting out a property. The responsibility to do this is with landlords and property owners.
If you own or manage a rental property, you are legally required to comply with Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES).
Why EPC ratings matter for landlords
EPC ratings are not only a legal requirement – there are financial implications. Many lenders and financial institutions require proof of a compliant EPC rating before approving funding or investment. Talk to our experts for advice and information on the most cost effective and efficient improvements to maintain and improve the property rating.
We focus on solutions that deliver cost-efficient and effective measures while ensuring compliance.
Survey and report
Using the current EPC report we can review and suggest realistic energy efficient changes to your property. Following a full discussion and detailed analysis we will provide a revised calculation of the improved efficiency rating if the discussed solutions were implemented.
The report will offer several scenarios with a variety of potential improvements allowing you to decide which is the most cost effective and practical way forward. This report then provides a useful foundation and instructional reference for those involved with the practical improvement of a property.

Exemption support
In some circumstances there may be reasons why a property is exempt from needing to comply with the MEES legislation. These include where improvements have been made to a property and it remains below the required E rating or where improvements would exceed the financial liability (currently £3,500).
We can advise on the different Exemption options and support the filing of Exemption paperwork.

Energy saving and greener options
Starting with the current EPC report we can review and propose energy efficient changes to your property. Following a full discussion and detailed analysis we will highlight potential financial savings and provide a revised calculation of the improved efficiency rating if the discussed solutions were implemented.
The report may include several scenarios including the use of heat pumps and solar panels. This report then provides a useful foundation and instructional reference for those involved with the practical improvement of a property.
