Three years ago I was about to spend over £10,000 on increasing the insulation on one of my properties in Watford in order to adhere to Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) legislation. Simon happened to be in the area and said he would pop in that day as my builders were due to start work the next morning.
By the end of the day not only had Simon concluded that in fact the property would NOT reach an 'E' rating after adding the insulation, but came up with an alternative idea which ended up costing me £200, saving me a great deal of unnecessary work, time and money.
